To support their expanding worldwide presence, CHC Helicopter awarded Urban Towers as the new global headquarters. An industrial aesthetic flows throughout the space to reflect the company’s values of agility, innovation, affordable high value solutions, and customer success. Exposed ceilings, concrete inspired flooring, and an abundance of glass walls create a casual and welcoming reception. Long linear light fixtures were carefully designed to give a nod to helicopter blades. The open break room designed on the exterior provides natural light and expansive views of Irving. Further, the open break room opens into the open office space and continues pulling natural light throughout the entirety of the space. A relaxing color palette of cool greys and blues is seen throughout. The cool tones are accentuated with pops of the brand’s signature orange color which can be found in a clustering of pendant lights artfully suspended above the quartz island in the break room. It is in those subtle hints of orange that we have brought in yet another nod to CHC Helicopter’s business as it reflects the color their flight crews wear day to day.
